Stamped at Dublin airport then bus to Belfast (UK) no Border

Post by Alwaysurs » Thu Dec 15, 2016 7:13 pm

Hi Everyone,
I'm confused regarding my recent entry to the UK via Dublin airport.
I'm on permanent resident permit.
How UKVI know that if I have entered Legally in the UK - Stamped at Dublin airport then bus to Belfast (UK) and Belfast to London domestic flight.

Do I need to inform anywhere or do i need to go to homeoffice for stamp?

No, my understanding is EU document holders won't be stamped into UK after you had crossed the external Common Travel Area border.

Thank you for your reply.
FYI
Still I hold non eu passport, I have got the PR as eu family member (through ex spouse) and I'll be eligible for naturalization soon end of January .
I'm bit worried if the stamps issue will effect for my naturalization also sponsoring soon to my new spouse ?

I would greatly appreciate all of your suggestions.

Did you keep the bus ticket?

Keep these in case you need to use them to show when you entered the UK.
