Just got my approval letter today.
Applied in April, interviewed in July and got IMM surcharge refunded yesterday.

Hi,

Involving MP in a sense, requesting a letter from MP to expedite the process however UKVI response was they can not make the decision quicker unless it is a rare exception therefore I won't think it will any difference to your process.
Approval date on letter is 19th December.
