I am surprised that this scenario has not cropped up before as forum gurus clearly are struggling to answer this one.
Forum simply reflects member experience - as simple as that.

What you're trying to do is unusual.
And obviously UKVI won't work around you to your convenience.

And when did I say otherwise? The whole point of the question is to ask whether someone has experienced this or not and what would be the best way forward in the scenario based on the experience, so what is wrong in that?

I am assuming you don't have the electronic copies and just the paper copies.

If paper copies, then make photocopies and get it certified.

Hope this helps..

i still have an unanswered question: as I am sponsoring my fathers' stay (flights, accommodation, spending money etc.):
A) does he need to submit his bank statements

B)If yes, how many months worth

I already have supplied my statements and payslips covering last 6 months. He went to the bank this morning, due to a technical issue, they are unable to print more than 3 months statement at this time. My fathers' biometrics appointment is tomorrow, is three months worth bank statements enough or does it need to be 6 months.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
