looking for advice

Post by star17 » Wed Dec 21, 2016 11:07 pm

HI

i am planing to apply for British Citizenship for my wife withing next 6 - 8 weeks .

i got one confusion

my wife hasn't yet passed "Life in the UK" and "English Competency test" .

she is a medical Doctor graduated from Abroad.

we got "UK NARIC Certificate" confirming her degree is equivalent to the UK Degree.
plus
we also got letter from her Medical College that their medium of education was English.

having these things
DOES SHE STILL NEED TO DO " ENGLISH COMPETENCY TEST" ?

I ll really appreciate your help

Does she have ILR? If yes, when did she get ILR?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

she got ILR last year on the bases of Discretionary leave to remain, due to that it wasn't required for her to do life in uk or English test .

Your wife will either need a NARIC ELA or a pass certificate in B1 level English from an UKVI approved test provider + the Life in the UK test.

The cost @ £150 is the same for both options.

(Casa, not CR001)
