Deportation from Canada

Post by luckyredrose » Wed Jan 16, 2008 11:19 am

Hello guys,

I have got a friend of mine who was deported from Canada last year.
Is there any chance he might be successful if he would file application for skiled immigration?
Does he have a chance to be admited to Canada in any category?
Any experiences with this?

Thanks

.

Was he legally detained and physically deported ..?

Or, was the asylum application rejected & he left "voluntarily" (in compliance with rejection) ..?

Did he overstay ..?

If he violated any laws while in Canada, his chances are pretty small, depending on the severity of any violations.

If he entered, applied, was rejected & left ... then he stands fairly normal chances of making a different application.

It will be examined a bit closer than many others due to his history, but a failed asylum application by itself shouldn't cause problems.

Unless there were other issues, such as I suggested above.
