ILR - 5 YR - SOC Code Matters?

Post by b4batmanrobin » Tue Jan 03, 2017 9:02 pm

Hello,

I need some advise, i will be applying for ILR (5 Yr route on T2) and

my current role is Network Admin
Salary is 35k
Nearest SOC Code is 3131 (NQF Level 4)

Please confirm, does SOC matters if salary is 35k?

If it does, can i just chose another SOC like (2010) - Telecom Engineer?
Will UKVI ask for when i switched the role in the same company and why i didn't apply for new BRP, and whether RMLT was performed?

Thanks.

Change of SOC requires new visa application. You do not need to change your current soc. You should be fine with your current SOC as long as you meet the 35K criteria.

Hello hassanh,

So, even though my current SOC is NQF level 4 it shouldn't cause an issue. that's good to know

Thanks

Yes, because your initial visa was issued with NQF level 4 so you should be fine. Good Luck with your ILR application.
