Application type: 10 yrs route with British Partner and a child
Application submitted 08/06/16
Acknowledge letter received: 08/07/16 (due to ECOHR)
Bio-metric registered: 24/09/16
A chase up letter sent: 06/12/16
Awaiting decision --------2017

As anyone in similar case have heard or received anything from HO this year 2017!!
And for the newcomers on Flr fp application, please do consider premium process, if YOU can afford the bill, and if you want to avoid waiting. I wish I knew about it before starting the journey. All the very best of luck guys!! :D :) 8)

Did you apply on the partner route or the parent route?

What is your immigration history in the UK?

There is already a timeline thread (NOT discussion thread).

Highly unlikely give that it is only the 2nd January and a bank holiday

Hi there. I was told there's a massive back log for FLR FP cases. This was when we chased for biometrics 3 months after acknowledgement letter in Oct/Nov time

It seems average decisions are taking 5 months after biometrics. Waiting at the moment (the later the better for my case)

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

My biometric did not arrive until the 3rd month which was late in August.
I do agree with you on the average time frame on flr fp.
