Strange!!! Btw...15th was a holiday...not 14th...I submitted on 14th..and the online status shows app recd on 14th...Now, with this new info am not sure when my application went through..this is crazy...

I think first bangalore VFS will send applciation to the chennai VFS... and then the chennai VFS might submit all the applications received in a particular day from Hyd, Bang and Chnai to BHC on next working day... so from bang to chn it might have reached on monday (14th) .. and then to BHC on 16th as 15th was holiday... no idea how exactly it works but just guessing...

aaah...

thats alrite..... ur submission date is one after mine...hopefully we shud get the result next week ...atleast thats wat i guessed after speaking to the BHC lady. A slight change in tone now after the standard "december backlogs" which we used to hear all the time.

I had sent an email to BHC today, and received two replies ..

One of them were out of office, and other one was email stating that they are still processing Dec Applications . . .

When i rang up BHC, lady there suggested me to call on 15th.

Applied: Jan 9th From Bangalore.
Integra: NO Idea
Final Status - Waiting

Integra checks done at office : No idea
Final status : Approved (validity - 05-02-08 TO 05-02-10)

Hi,

called up BHC just now and the same old message i got

. They said it will take atleast month and half. They also told that they wont be able to tell if they have received integra report or not.

How did some of u guys come to know if BHC has received the integra report or not?

Dont know what these guys are upto... there is no logic in their statements... see below mail reply from bhc (today)...

"You may wish to note that HSMP applications received in the third week of December are being assessed at the moment. I am sorry I am unable to give you a time frame at the moment."

Pls everyone update your company name along with status from now onwards, since this will give an idea of how much time it has taken for integra verification and EC based on company and preference they give for which company employees

Got Visa Stamped on 08-02-2008 for2 years.

Pls don't rely on BHC guys for status, bcoz on 06 I enquired with them for status they simply informed me that still my verification is pending.

Hi,

Received a call from BlueDart on Friday evening about my passport. checked the status online and it did change. Got the ppt with visa stamped for 2 years for me and my husband on Saturday morning.

This forum was quite useful...........thanks to all and wish to see everyone happy soon with positive results.

Hi all,

Please help me..i m in trouble ..i Have applied for EC and got on 22 nd january valid til 2010.but couple of days back I have lost my passort along with EC stamped on it.I have FIR ,scanned copy of passport,EC copy and all supporting documents.
PLease advise my about this what should i do...
As i maled to VFS and Bombay.visaenquired@fco.gov.uk but they replied stating that I have to apply for new EC
I cant apply for new EC becasue my approval letter date is expired.

please help me in this regards....

Hi Rohit,
Do not worry...This is not a big issue..........

I will tell you how to go about it in a very easy approach.....

Follow these simple steps...

1) Go and get an application form for LOST PASSPORT
2) Get an FIR Report ready with all the relevant documentation to be applied to the Ministry of External Affairs
3) Take the assistance of any staff in the Regional Passport office if needed
4) TRY ONLY FOR TATKAAL SCHEME OFFERED BY THE MINISTRY
WHEREIN THEY WILL ISSUE THE PASSPORT IN 5 WORKING DAYS
5) TRY TO INCLUDE A COVERING LETTER TO THE BRITISH HIGH COMMISION THAT YOU WERE ALREADY GIVEN ENTRY CLEARANCE BUT YOU HAVE LOST YOUR PASSPORT
6) The BHC will issue the EC on the new Passport within approximately 5 to 7 working days

7) This way you will be able to meet the deadline of 27 days during which you should be present in Uk after getting Entry clearance.....
