Abroad Application-Ext Visa Rejected-travel UK b4 expiry

Dear Admin,

I hold a british citizen passport and my family holds a "Tier 1 General Dependent" visa. Their visa expiry date is 10-feb-2017.

Due to emergent situation, family traveled to abroad and applied for tier-1 general dependent "extension" from abroad. Today it got rejected with 319C(b)(i) section.

My doubt:

Can they travel to UK before 10th of feb 2017? Will there any concern at airport immigration?

Please advise me.

You cannot apply for an extension from abroad. Extensions are only possible within the UK. Any application abroad is a new entry clearance.

They should travel before their current visas expire.
