wife on spouse visa - require visa to go back to india?

Hi All,

After many months of reading on the internet and this forum. My wife came back with me from India in Nov 2016 after the visa was granted in August 2016.

My question is;

As she is an indian passport holder - does she still require a visa to go back to india if she wants to visit for 1-2 weeks? If so can she go on an e-visa ?

I've done some research and as far as I can make out although some regulations on how much someone can go outside the UK on a spouse visa, I believe you have to apply for a visa?

Thoughts would help.

She doesn't need visa to visit India
