ILR (LR) 10 year route addresses

Hi all,

Do you need to provide your 10 year address history for ILR 10 year route?

I have been a student for 8 years and working for 2 years. However, when I was on tier 4 student visa， I didn't live in the same town as my university for most of those 8 years and I moved around quite a lot. Will I need to write a cover letter to justify why, for instance, I lived in Sheffield while attending university in Manchester?
