Job Creation EEA Passport is Must or ID Card is also ok

i could not find exact answer for this question on this forum.
i check on Gov.uk website if a someone is allowed to work or not.

i only clicked YES to the question below on gov.uk

Doest the worker have an, EU, EEA or Swiss passport or National Identity Card or are they named person in their parent's or child passport?
GOV.UK website suggested: The person is allowed to work.

my question is.
I only have EEA worker's National Identity Card. instead of passport would that be enough to send along with other necessary documents to claim points for job creation?
