Mandatory docs required plz attach the following along with ur application.
1. Passport (if u have renewed your passport then also send your old and new passports both)
2. BRP card
3. Cos letter
4. Tier 2 extension application form (if filled online then take its print out )
5. Print out of healthcare surcharge NHS number (you will get it after doing IHS payment )the number will come to your email once u do the payment
6. Appointment letter (if u book appointment online for going in person then u will get an email for appointment notification ) need to take this with u otherwise home office will not allow u to enter the building
7. Maintenance fund letter for dependant from employer if u don't have enough funds or to b safe side

Now a days most of the applications are on hold. Home office is asking for more documents P60 forms of all the years since a person has started working for that employer. They also asked questions to the employer.
So to b safe side ask ur employer to write detailed job description in ur cos letter. And u also send all ur p60 . P60 should b original . Take printouts and ask employer to put company stamp. Most people are also sending pay slips n bank statements along with p60.
They r still waiting for visa. Home office is asking 70% of the people extra docs and info for extension which is taking time.
