Does Multiple Entry WP Visa not count toward ILR?

Hello,

Please could you advise how is Multiple Entry WP Visa different from a normal WP? and is it that it won't count towards ILR?

My WP does not says anything about Multiple Entry but visa endorsement says its multiple entry.

My understanding is the multiple entry WP doesn't count for ILR. I understand that it is intended for exporadic visit to the UK and not settlement, hence, time spend under ME WP doesn't count towards ILR.

If the WP doesn't say multiple entry, then it is not a 'Multiple Entry Work Permit'. But all visas for normal work permits say 'multiple entry'.

I wouldn't worry.

I am confused here.. My passport says

No. of entries: MULT
Type: VISA WORK PERMIT
Obsrv. No recourse to public funds Work and any changes must be authorised.

Does that mean I am on a multiple visa work permit or a normal work permit that leads to ILR????

As I said, ALL VISAS FOR WORK PERMITS SAY 'MULTIPLE ENTRY'.

It is only a multiple entry work permit if the work permit says so.
