I have called HO yesterday and they informed me that at the moment they are working on the cases those payment/application cleared/received by 15th of January, who ever has send his application after that would not be in process.

well u r absolutely rite bro but tis is wht they say u on telephone. well mine applciation has been cleared wit the payment on 13th of Dec and no results yet, well those application who went for verification checks takes more time and other dont...so lets hope for the best

My application got approved

My timelines are as under

Application Received: 15th Jan
Fees Deducted: 15th Jan
Ref No. Received: 19th Jan
Approval date:11th Feb

I went through a consultant he called the HO yesterday when they gave him the good news, will apply for EC next week, just waiting for my documents to come through

congrates bro on ur success though it was in 2nd time(AM I RITE???)

u r lucky that u got approval in less than 6 weeks..mine application has already taken 11 weeks and others are almost 8-9 weeks and no results yet...

did u come across any verfication checks or jus luck enough to get escaped??

Thanks, Yes it was my second application actually my case was pretty straight forward; the first time it was rejected because I didnot provide any evidence of my age just provided a notarized english translation of my birth certficate.

This time I provided my DL , notarized copy of my passport and got through , I dont think there was any verification just got through within the average time right now which about 29 days(as per trackitt).

Application sent 13th Jan
Application received 16th Jan
Reference No. Received 19th Jan
Email received for collection on 13th Feb
Documents received 18th Feb
Approval DAte 13th Feb

Hey Ambreen,

Well i m no longer callin HO as its been 11 weeks and ma application hasnt decided yet....

Whenever u call HO, they said that ur application is still under consideration..so no point callin them again n again...and as I have requested them for a courier pik up, so as soon as ma application is being decided, they will email me..so i m jus waitin......

Who ever has applied for HSMP before the 29th of Feb '08 and if they get approval before the 29th of february 2008 or after. In order to get their EC which rule do they come under? Is it previous one or new one and what about the fee?
