Valid length of EEA Family Member permit

Hello everyone,
I am going to apply EEA family member permit.

I have 2 questions about this permit, I checked lots website, but I couldn't get very much straight answers.

1. I read that EEA family member permit valid for 6 months for multiple entry. After 6months, what should I do? Should I apply for another visa?

2. Is there any time limit to move to UK since EEA family member permit has been issued?

I'd be pleased if someone could give me straight answers!

Once the family permit is issued, you can enter the UK any time during that 6 month period. After you are in the UK, you can apply for the Residence card which is valid for 5 years. Use form EEA2 from the BIA site for this.
