Post by gopsln » Thu Feb 14, 2008 3:31 pm

Hi Folks,

Can any one tell me the way you guys send the application packet to HSMP office in UK? Can govt EMS/regd post also be reliable?

And I also want to know how I can get a cheque payable at UK from India?

How do I arrange collection of docs back frm UK?

Please do respond.

Gopinath

Can HSMP Dependant Apply for HSMP before Tier1 [29th Feb 08]

Post by itsmanu » Fri Feb 15, 2008 4:37 pm

Would really appreciate if some one can answer this. I am in UK as HSMP dependant and planning to apply for HSMP this month before 21 of Feb. Is there any rule in the current HSMP scheme which does not allow HSMP dependants to apply for HSMP?

Please can you let me know how you can track your application and also how does the refrence number work?

Can you actually check your status online or something?

Thanks

Hi alpha,

you cannot track online, instead you can call homeoffice and track your applicaiton using your reference number.

Hello

I posted my application on the 11th of Feb, money has been debited on 13th of feb.

What my main worry is that the new laws are about to change so if you haven't got FLR by the 29th of Feb, you have to go in the new system. That means for some of us, going home to apply!

Do you know that if I ask for FLR now, but don't have all the documents ready, will they give me leeway and give me some extra time to hand them in, even if it is after the 29th of Feb. Or is it, if you don't have your documents ready for the leave to remain by the 29th of Feb, tough luck, you have to apply in the new system?

Applied 15 Feb 2008

Post by newscience » Mon Feb 18, 2008 8:50 am

My details are as follows:

Application delivered : 15-Feb-2008
Money Debited: 15-Feb-2008

Waiting for reference number and next steps.

I had faced a small problem. When my credit card details were presented for payment, the payment was declined by my bank because of the pre-set Transaction Limit. I got SMS from my bank and I immediately got it increased. They (Bank) said that they can not do anything for previous declined payment and I should ask Home Office to present it again for payment (which obviously Home Office will not do or they would not take pains to do). However, Within next 15 mintues, I got another SMS stating that payment is through.

So keeping my fingers crossed that all is going to go through well.
