Tier2General dependent Visa for 7 months baby

Post by punithadevi » Fri Feb 24, 2017 2:58 pm

Hi

My visa is expiring in Mid of March 2017 and my company started processing my COS.
My Baby Born in the UK on Aug 2016(7Months Old). Im waiting for her passport to come.
My question is do I need to apply Visa for my baby along with me and my husband?
Or shall I do it later?

I don't think i will get the passport before my appointment.

Thanks
Punitha

You can apply for baby visa later. Please, remember the baby will need a visa if you travel out of UK and then come back.

Thanks,

Well if you want to apply together, you can apply for her visa without a passport. There is an option in the PBS dependent child application that allows choosing - Do not have passport as I was born in the UK. I did the same for my daughter and got the visa without a passport but bear in mind you do need a passport to travel.
