as i am the director can i take salary from my company income or profit?

Most definitely you can. It seems you cannot take it from your investment though. So sources are additional investment beyond the £200K* or profit.

(I mean this for other investors in the company, if it is your own money better to just 'keep it' rather than inject into the company and take back minus taxes. The caveat to that is if you need to invest it for your equity shareholding as per agreements with other investors)
