life in uk test and english

Hi
Does passing like in UK test also prove you are good in English? or a seperate English test pass certificate is needed for ILR?

No, that is fine. The point is that you need to establish in advance that your english is good enough to take the test.

Dear Victoria,
Could you tell me if some body has ESOL-1 with Citizenship Certificate,instead of LIFE IN UK TEST, is he illigible to apply for ILR.

Applicant need to progressed one ESOL Level( in a course taught using a citizenship sillabus) in order to meet the new knowledge of life and language requirements. Therefore applicants using the ESOL route may not necessarily have to REACH ESOL entry level 3 in order to satisfy requiremnet
