Delay/Response time for acknowledgement letter for tier 1

Hi All

I have applied for my Tier 1 Entrepreneur-extension, summary is as below:
Application sent-22/02/2017
Application received by HO-23/02/2017
Payment deducted-24/02/2017
I have not received any acknowledgement letter/biometric letter yet, its been 5-8 working days today, depending on application receving date or payment deducted date. Can somebody please advise me how long does it usually take to receive initial acknowledgement letter and please share our own application processing timing if possible?

Usually both letters arrive together after successful payment.
Maybe wait for another day or two. Might be a postal delay.

The biometric letter could take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. The processing could take from 8 weeks to 10 months depending on the complexity of your application

I applied on 15/02/2017, payment was taken on 17th. And still I haven't received any acknowledgement or biometric letter. Please keep me posted when you receive any reply from HO.

That's interesting, applied on same day as you fees deducted on 24th of Feb. Hope we both get everything sorted same time.

I applied on 10 Feb17 and have not received biometric letter.I am waiting from 3 weeks.

Reading on this forum the guys who applied last year are getting responses so it looks like HO is trying to sort out last year's applications first.

Not sure why there is delay . I have applied

6th FEB
7th Feb received
8th Feb Fee charged to card
11th Feb acknowledgement and biometric letter received
13th Feb Bio Submitted

Since then still waiting for further response from HO . As they said up to 8 weeks where some times it took almost year for some and some got approval in 4 weeks . I think if the fee has been taken then should not be any worry at least application will not return as invalid .

Very good post, in 2 days we know , so many applicants applied in last 2-3 weeks,

we applied Tier 1 Entrepreneur extension as team,

Application Submitted : 23/02/2017
Application received HO : 24/02/2017
Fee Deducted : 28/02/2017
Biometric Letter : 03/03/2017 ( Dated : 02/03/2017)
Biometric enrolment : 04/03/2017

Applied: 24th Feb 2017
Application Received by HO: 27th Feb 2017
Money Deducted : 1st March 2017
Since then awaiting for acknowledgement letter along with Biometric confirmation.
Hopefully it is received by Monday.
