Filling in British passport form

Good Afternoon ,

Just after a bit of info please .

My turkish husband is going to attend NCS to do the AN application and at the same time do his passport application.

Do you know if they will do a certified copy of my husbands uncancelled Turkish passport to send with the British passport application or will they need the actual passport to be sent.

Nextly I am a bit stuck with the section saying if parents were born abroad ( as his parents were , and where they have always resided) then to supply grandparents details :/

This would be near impossible as all his grandparents are deceased and he knows very little about them.

Current passport will be copied / returned during appointment.
No requirement to list parent / grand parents in PP application.
