Regarding Existing BRP while switching out of country

Post by acdindian » Wed Feb 22, 2017 1:50 pm

Hi All,

My wife submitted her tier 2 general visa application in India, this morning.

She already had a BRP as my tier 2 ICT dependent.

When she submitted her existing BRP as part of her documents, the VFS staff told her that they cannot accept any originals other than the passport.

Given that she would get a new vignette (valid for 1 month) and will have to collect her new BRP as a tier 2 general main applicant when she lands in the UK, how is she to return her existing BRP card that she has (as my dependent)

Request your kind inputs.

Thanks
Ash

Just keep as a 'momento'. She won't need and her dependent visa will be cancelled anyway if she is granted a tier 2 general visa.
