NARIC Visa and Immigration Service- Research Required

Hi,

Can anyone tell how long does it take after the status update of "Research Required" for the NARIC visa and immigration service?

I needed it urgently for my visa application and NARIC is saying that further research is required and it can no longer be completed in 15 days time frame

Would have been quicker to do the English test.

I couldn't take the test as my passport is with Home office. I have varied my application to Tier 1 (general) dependant to FLR (M).

I have applied online for FLR (M) and need to send the supporting documents by 3rd April (withing 15 working days).
Can I send the NARIC certificate later once I receive them and send the other supporting documents now?

Do you have a driver's license?

Otherwise you will have to submit and explain in a covering letter and hope HO accept that. But not meeting the English requirement with evidence can result in a refusal.

Has your spouse been granted ILR LR now?

Yes I have got my driving licence. Can I use it to sit any English Test? Apparently I have to have my passport?
No he is still waiting for the decision on his LR application.

It is for LIUK. For SELT i think it is mandatory to have your passport with you.

Thanks, I will check that. It seems like I am running out of time as I have only week and a half to submit my supporting documents.

Hey there,
how many days have gone by since they told you further research needed? I wish I just did the test already... I thought this would be quicker!!!! I think I'll just go ahead and register for the IELTs but I'm curious to see what NARIC will say first. Has it been more than 10 days doing this research?
