Hope to get it anytime next week. When are you guys planning to fly. Do open a seperate thread for flight ticket and baggages. Also a thread for accomodation will be really helpfull.

REJECTED due to some doubts they have

reasons:
1. I am working for a startup company. Even though, I am working since 2004, my company has opened salaried bank account in Jan 2006.

2. My qualification is M.Tech (Remote Sensing) and working as Sr. Manager. But, BHC feels that one should have IT qualification for that post.

I am planning to re-apply through a profession consulting company after taking one or two weeks break.

If any body knows a consultant who can deal my case, plz inform me.

Thanks to Vidya, Kmsr, Jason, Lion and others for giving support from this forum.

Ram,

That is a shocker after this much of waiting. You can try the consultant who arsenalsri has applied with. He has left the number also in the forum. Search his messages or you can call him.

Sorry about it.

Sorry to hear about it Ram.

I guess Jason is talking about this one. It was posted by December 31 not me.

Some people say re-applying is prefered to appealling.

I think you need to consult a consultant. Please details of the consultant below. I do not know anything about the consultant, someone in this forum told that she is good.

Consultant name is Raji govindraj, She is the MD of Karmlaw immigration services.

Am truly sad for you Ram... I think its pure bullshit that a technical qualification is a reason... u r an Mtech after all... Me being an MCom can get a HSMP that too for a Project Manager position, then you are overqualified for your post i guess! I will PM my consultant's details to you if you want...

Hi palaka_rambabu,

Sorry to hear such news. But no where BHC talks about the qualification and the kind of work that is supposed to be done with that qualification. Did you make any attempts to contact BHC/VFS and ask them what exactly it means?

Is BHC is trying to tell someone with non-computer degree (like BCom) cant be doing programming? Thats ridiculous man.

Thanks

Hi Ram,

Thats really sad news... but I think to some extent they might be strict but they are according to their rule buk I think...

If u see
"Q. 6.1.4 Please give details of all qualifications you have that are relevant to this type of work."

According to guidelines for this question...
"Please provide documentary evidence to support this e.g. certificates."

So it means ur education certificates were not enough to support the above question... One question here... did u submit any other certificates like Microsoft / Sun etc? I think that wud have been better to support your application...

Any comments???
Thanks...
Veeresh

Hi HSMPinit,

Yes,I too have predicted the same reason...

The EC officer while assessing an application deems it necessary to have a relevant qualifications while taking up a work in UK..

...For instance a medico cannot say that he would eventually land up as a software engineer in UK...

Atleast relevant diploma or a certificate is required to support the prospective job to be undertaken in UK...

That is what I feel........May be even EC officer...Lol... :!:

Post by ce98118 » Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:16 pm

Folks, got my passport back with EC. My visa says 0 for dependents, though my wife has got a hsmp dependent visa. Is this the same for others who applied for a dependent visa..?

Ram - sorry to hear about this. A suggestion - you could take the Prince2 foundation exam.. One problem is it takes a month to get the results. Did you attach evidence of job search / mails from consultants..?

Yes ce98118...

Almost all of the applicants applying for their dependants have got 0 under dependant section...

It does not matter as long as your spouse has also been stamped a VISA in her passport...

Hope that would clarify...

Queries Do ping me...?

I need some info from you...?

DID you get any mail reply from BHC..

If so can you post it here...
