kindly i need information regarding child benefits and child tax credits.A person with ilr having children with visa no recourse to public funds can claim child tax credit and child benefits or not?
if he claims will it effect the children immigration status in future or not?

A person with ILR can claim both. It is NOT the child that is claiming but the adult who has ILR. No effect on child's visa and future applications.

If your partner (if you have one) still has a spouse/dependent visa, then they cannot claim.

Child benefit must be claimed in YOUR name.

Child tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your partner.

my wife is my dependent 5 years route and i m with ilr and children born outside uk and no recourse to public funds.
can i claim cb and ctc in my name?
will it affect my wife and children application in future?

Child Benefit in YOUR name ONLY. Child tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your spouse as I have already advised. You cannot claim CTC in only your name as a single person.

one more question.......when my wife will apply for future extension what she will tick to the question are you receiving any benefits?and what about my children in appliacation form?

No for children because it is NOT the child claiming and just complete the form for your wife as it asks regarding CTC. HO are aware of the CTC rules and claiming jointly.
