Category A Bank statements

For category A can you apply with less than 6 bank statements?

No you cannot. If you do not submit 6 months bank statements and 6 months payslips, you are unlikely to be approved. The rules are very clear.

Well I have 5 bank statements, my january and february pay appears in one statement. CR001 Can you have 4 or 5 bank statements if they cover a period of 6 months?

Yes you must submit 6 months bank statements. If 2 salary payments appear in one months, you can add a note and highlight it.

2 salary payments doesnt appear in one month, its just that I was paid on 31st Jan, the january bank statement doesnt show my salary pay as it shows up to 30 days, the februruary payslip shows at the top Januarys payment then follows onto february, so its one statement that shows payment for 2 different months.

So im guessing could have 5 bank statements as long as they cover a period of 6 months. You dont need 6 bank statements but 6 months worth of bank statements?

Quantity of bank statements is not relevant - the bank statements themselves should just cover the relevant 6 month period.
