Hi, I am new to this forum. Waiting for my Tier1 extension (50K) outcome from last 11 months. Applied in April 2016. Today I contacted Home Office and came to know they took decision today only and gave me the tracking number as well. They mention its 2nd class recorded delivery. Do they normally send documents by 2nd class delivery?

Hi, The one I received were recorded delivery First Class postage..

I even sent them prepaid special delivery envelope but they damaged it while opening it so they used normal recorded delivery perhaps..

Thanks for reply. Do they send documents only in case of acceptance or they also send if rejected? And is the passport in the same parcel or they send separately.

The documents are typically returned with the approval letter, because if the refusal is sent, then they keep the documents. The reason for this is that if a person goes for Admin Review, then they need to review the documents again.

The passport is sent back with the approval letter. If there is a refusal, and the AR is unsuccessful, then they don't return the passport if the leave to remain has expired. They return it when the person leaves the country (though people can reapply within 14 days despite this).

Congratulations, VFN. Was your business in profit in the final year?
