payslip/bankstatement 6 or 12 months??

Can anyone advise if 6 or 12 months payslips and bank statements are required?

I have received p60 stating that my last 12 months pay is 21500.

Can I only provide 6 months payslips and bank statements?

6 months. The most recent payslips & corresponding bank statements must be no older than 28 days on the date the application is submitted.

If you have earned £21500 from same employer then 6 months payslips & bank statements otherwise (if different jobs) 12 months payslips & bank statements.
