New form and fee

Please can anyone advise me? After a long process helping a friend with and FLR (FP) application, it was finally sent off yesterday. I have literally just discovered that the form updated and the fee increased on Wednesday. I am so upset and worried for him as I'd been stressing so much I never considered this would happen. How does he contact them quickly so they don't reject his application? If he has to write to a different address there will be a further delay.
