T2 ICT (Established Staff) to T2 General

Post by opti21 » Tue Apr 11, 2017 12:17 pm

Hi there,
I am current on T2 ICT visa since September 2010. I initially came on T2 ICT -Established Staff category (in September 2010) & after that I have been granted 2 visa extensions (in 2013 & 2015)
My current visa is still valid till October 2018. Now I want to switch to T2 General category. Is this possible now. Are there any changes in the rules on 6 April 2017?
I couldn’t find my eligibility in the below link, which I am sure there was another line regarding established staff category (visa before 6 April 2011)

https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/switch-to-this-visa

Will appreciate a quicker reply.

245HD(c) applies. You can switch to Tier 2 General
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

The details you sent are of 2011. I want to know are there any updates in the rules on 6 APRIL 2017 as I can't find my eligibility in the list on the link below which was there before 6 APRIL...

THAT'S RIGHT. but the same line of established staff category was mentioned on the main eligibility page of switching to Tier 2 General visa. I was wondering why that line removed from that page.

Could someone help us to understand the above query as there is a confusion around the eligibility to switch the visa type?

Thanks in advance!!
