Recieved supporting documents

Hi all today i have recieved all supporting documents which i sended along with my wife visa application a week ago it is a british spouse visa.
They have sent me back every thing back as it is even the application forms passport size pics actually everything my concern is that is it normal or they have done any mistake by sending back both the application forms . There is a acknowledge letter attach also saying they have copied the supporting documents and decesion will be made afterwards so plz all gurus or the people who have applied before kindly tell me plz do they send everything back to you ? Thanku bery much
