Citizens Ship throughout Refugees Status Granted

Hi Every One.
One of my Friend Granted Recently Refugee Status .and he gonna applied Irish citizenship after Completed his 3 Years .
At the time when he apply asylum in Ireland he submitted all Photo ID (passport + ID card ). And next year he planning to go for marriage and he applied another passport In his embassy and get 2 years temparry passport after he got married he granted temparry stamp 4 after waiting his Decision for 5 years Visa base on EU treaty Rights .in mean time he granted Refugees status so he wants to keep his Refugees status he get one year stamp 4 based on Asylum.
For all This
My first Questions
Did he have to give his new Passport to Department of Citizenship?
And if he don't want to declared his marriage what should he have to do ?
