Tier 2 Dependent Visa Supporting Documents

Post by gauravbatra » Mon Apr 03, 2017 3:54 pm

Hello, I am going to apply for Uk tier 2 dependent visa my wife has tier 2 general Uk visa. I have one doubt in my mind.

Can anyone tell me , should I attest my wife's BRP card/ passport copy from India as I'm applying from India.

or Do I need attested BRP card/ passport copy of my wife from Uk solicitor as she will come to India so she can bring that with her ?

Please reply. I would really appreciate that.

Attestation is not required. Copy is fine.

Btw, I'm hoping you are taking care of providing enough proof of your subsisting marriage. That has been a difficult area nowadays if dependent is applying for the visa seperately.

Refer the case here: uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/tier ... 28224.html

Look for similar cases in this forum and you will get you know the info you have to provide.

Hello moonlight55, Thank you for your reply.
Sorry for replying late as I did not check this website.

Yes I am providing enough proofs of my relationship and marriage and I checked that case of refusal.

I am providing:

Original marriage cert from court.
Wedding invitation card.
our marriage , engagement and other old abroad trips photographs.
Facebook , email and whatsapp chat copy since 2013.
Trips booking in abroad and hotel booking on our name.
Flight booking copy when I went to Uk to met her and when she came to Germany as I was studying in Germany that time and recently came to India to get married and apply for Dependent visa.

I hope it should be fine.
What do you say?

A UK visitor visa?

If yes no issue, it will simply be cancelled automatically when your dependent visa is approved.

Hello Guys, I am actually tensed because I have not got a reply from UKVI about my application. My appointment was on 27th April and on 3rd May I got an email that my application is being prepared for the consideration by ECO, after that last week I inquired about my application status through International service and they told me that your application has been processed and decision was made , within few days I will get an email.

I don't know how much time it would take. It's been 16th working day today.

****NO REPLY FROM UKVI****

Hi, I had my appointment on 27th April 2017 for tier 2 general partner visa at VFS global new delhi and so far I have not got any email regarding my application apart from the confirmation email that my application has been received on 3rd May.

I checked with international inquiry service last week and found my application has been processed and decision was made. But I'm waiting since few days I did not get any email from VFS or from UKVI. How long will it take to complete the process. I'm really worried now.

IS there any contact number for VFS global new delhi where I can reach and ask about it?

Why are you worried? It's less than 1 month after your application.

Mate, it is a total waste of time to wait for any email or SMS from either UKVI or VFS. As you said the decision was made, I would suggest you to start tracking your passport on bluedart (if you have opted for courier service). Usually, this would be available as soon as the passport is dispatched from BHC.
Hope this helps.. and best of luck !!

Thanks for your suggestion mate. But I did not opt for that opt for that service. I will have to go to collect my passport. Yesterday I askes VFS global centre about my passport via email and they said they have not gotmy passport yet as it is still with BHC.
I only have one option and that is to wait for message from VFS.

Hi Gaurav,

I had applied tier 2 general visa on 27th March from Bangalore. No result has been communicated and waiting like this is so frustrating. How about your visa status? Does this link actually help?

I applied on 27th April and last week again I contacted international help service through that website , they have escalated the case. But I'm still waiting for a message or email.

Can't really do anything about it instead of waiting.

It's been 23 working days and I have not got any email from UKVI or VFS regarding my tier 2 general partner visa.

Anyone experiencing the same?
