is this okay? maintenance letter format

Post by kumar114 » Thu May 04, 2017 9:40 am

Hi,
I am in a Tier 2 for more than 3 years.
Planning to bring my wife here in UK.
Its a maintenance letter from my office. Is this format good to be sent.

Dear Sirs,

This is to confirm that Mrs aaaa is Mr bbbbb’s (COS:xxxxxxx) wife. We confirm that we will give her at least £690 to cover her costs for a month if she needs it.

Please contact me if you require further confirmation.

Yours faithfully,
xxxxxxx
Managing Director

Also, does MD has to sign the letter?

Another question.
i saw in this forum that if you are in a Tier 2 for more than a year, then maintenace letter does not work. is this true?

kind regards
Kumar

You should mention your wife's Passport number and yes it should be signed by the director.
To be safe, it's better to include tenancy agreement and landlord Noc along with the maintenance letter.

Thanks rya12.
but i thought tenancy agreement is only needed if the child is involved?
