TLS France London visa center don't allow children's

Hello

We are applying for schengen​ visa at TLS London. Post appointment, we got to know they don't allow children below 12year of age . We know they don't need to go for biometric. Hoeever it is not clear where to leave our children while taking appointment together. We are coming from different place in UK and don't have anyone else to look after our son. I am sure we are not the first one who is going through this. However anyone with similar situation could share their experience how do we manage this or we need to apply different Embassy for schenegen visa ?
