English Requirement for UK Citizen's Spouses

Post by sajidmahmood » Fri Feb 22, 2008 5:28 pm

Hello,

I heard that Spouses of UK residents will be required to pass English test before applying for Entry clearance. Does anyone know what LEVEL english test is required? is it basic or something similiar to Life in The Uk test?

Thanks

I have to admit that I hope it will be at least the equivalent of IELTS 5.0 (and that's not really so hard).
