Switching of Tier 2 (genral) dependent to Tier 4 Student

Hi Folks,

My apologies in advance if following question was asked before and I failed to spot that in forum.

I am in UK since Nov 2013 on Tier 2 General along with my partner on dependent visa. She is thinking about starting a full time master's degree. I know she can do that on T2 Dependent status as well but what if:

> She moves to T4 Student category, can she do that without leaving UK?
> If above is possible, can I become T4 dependent without leaving UK?
> If above is possible, will my time as T2 General be counted in addition to T1 dependent for ILR proceedings ?

1. no, from home country.
2. yes, can do within uk
3 i suppose u mean T4 and not T1, yes, only towards 10 year LR. Not the 5 year route.
