Immigrating to France after studying there!!!

Post by masksam » Thu Feb 10, 2005 7:21 am

Hi everyone,

I am a student from India wanting to study a Bachelors degree in Hotel Management in France.
Please tell whether there are any ways to migrate to France after studies.

I have also thought of Ireland as a destination for my Bachelors degree.

Any suggetions, opinions will be heaps appreciated.

Regards
Sam

Given that you haven't even started your studies yet, I should think it is rather premature at this stage to decide where you want to immigrate to.

First get a place in the course that you want, then finish your degree, and then look at the opportunities in different countries before deciding what is best for you.

Its good that you are researching your options before spending your parents' hard-earned money on education.

France is good if your French laguage skills are excellent otherwise you might be washing dishes.

Go to Canada if possible.

Just my 2p.

Thanks guys for your reply.
The France immigration website says that an employer can sponsor a non-EU student only if he is able to convince the immigration authorities that he has not been able to find anyone for the job in the entire EU.
So how will a non-eu student get a workpermit to work in france after studies? Your thoughts........
