Please recommend an Umbrella Company

Hi All,

I would be soon working as an independent IT Contractor.
Could someone please please recommend a reliable umbrella company.

I am on HSMP and I would need to file for HSMP extension under Tier 1.

I am not concerned about the take home income through Umbrella Company but all the necessary documents required like salary slip etc to qualify the points.

Also, can you claim points against dividends?

but transaction u r talking or thinking r illegal

u need to pay NI & Tax as individaul

and as directors CT

any other planning call illegal and u r not suppose to discuss here

What are you talking about?

What the OP is contemplating is perfectly legal or normal, loads of the HSMP guys at work trade this way.

WRT to dividends earning points for Tier 1, I'd say not, dividends are unearned income and are therefore not 'earnings' per se.

WRT to dividends from a ltd company you own and from umbrellas companies that do the payroll for you, the HO generally considers it as income. You sometimes get someone who doesn't understand this method but you can appeal and it normally gets approved.
