I am completing the flr (m) and not sure how to answer question 3.17: on what basis did your sponsor previously obtain settlement in the UK?

My father was here working and I came to join him in 1998.
How can I put this on the form?

Sorry, I am the applicant and my wife is the sponsor who came to the UK to join her father in 1998

She is a British citizen

If she got ILR as a work permit/PBS dependent, then that is all you need to state in the form.
