Information on Irish visas/entry regulations is here:
http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Ir ... nformation

Does she have ILR under U.K. domestic rules or Permanent Residence under the EEA immigration regulations?

If she's been in Northern Ireland for over 10 years- any reason why she doesn't have British and/or Irish citizenship.
This is not intended to be legal or professional advice in any jurisdiction.

she applied for irish naturalisation 2 year ago and was turned down. she has ILR now .

so, back to question, what does she need ( if anything ) to fly from dublin to bangkok. we will travel together by car form belfast to dublin easilly as there is no border . will airline refuse her ?

Airlines do check the valid visa some times . So we can't rule out the possibility of denying the flight .
How do you intend to travel back to Belfast ? Is it via Dublin and by car from Dublin to Belfast ? If so it would be an issue .
Best thing would be to apply for multiple entry visit visa to avoid any last minute disappointment .
