Passport delivery after citizenship ceremony

Post by astonished » Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:12 pm

I'm trying to work out when I need to be at home to take delivery of my passport.

I attended a citizenship ceremony last week and understand the passport can be delivered within 20 working days of the ceremony. My question: do you get a text or email when it's going to be dispatched? Need to plan for when I need to stay at home to sign for it.

Thanks

I did not get any text/email.
Typically takes 7 days after ceremony, but mine came on the 14th day.
I live in a block of flats, was not at home on the day and found the passports slid under the door of my flat.
