Tier 2 visa extension

Hi All,

I am currently on a Tier 2 General visa which is due to expire. My company has assigned me a new certificate of sponsorship and I have tried completing the online application, located here https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... r2-general . Am I already considered to be Tier 2 General leave to remain, or is this what I am switching into?

I have checked the website, but it's not clear.
