Dear All,

I got HSMP approval (scanned) letter today from my consultant. My timelines were

Applied through UK based Consultant = 25th Jan 08
Application Received by HO as per email reply = 1st Feb 08
Reference # received through on email request= 5th Feb 08
Status = Approved, letter dated 21st February 2008

Dear Friends,

Today I recieved my Documents with APPROVAL LETTER in it. It was my first Application and I made it from Karachi, Pakistan. I claimed 75 Points and got them all.

My Timelines are as follows:
Application Sent: 12-JAN-2008 (VIA DHL)
Application Recieved: 14-JAN-2008
Payment Cleared: 14-JAN-2008 (Through UBL VISA Credit CARD)
REF Recieved: 18-JAN-2008
Decision Made: 08-FEB-2008
Documents Revieved: 25-FEB-2008 (VIA AIR MAIL-No FANCY PICKUPs)

I am thankful to all of you for helping each other out. I shall now proceed with the EC stuff.

Congrates to ma all pakistani applicants who had their applications approved specially Majic and others...

well i m still waiting for a decision to be made on ma application..current week is the 13th weeks since HO has received ma application...now next week i will give them a call to argue abt ma application..as whenever i called them they say that contact us after 14 weeks...

c where i'l land guyz..

Fees deducted on 29th Jan 2008
Reference Number recd on 5th Feb 247***
Approval Date 27th February 2008
Complete Documents Received on 1st March 2008

Hello Good Day

I have few queries can some one help me out I am living in U.k from last 5 years I have done the PGD diploma and on that PGD I got a one year IGS visa now my IGS will expire by the end of this months and I have earned Â£23000 on a one year IGS visa that money is not a field related job I am coming going back to pakistan 1st april I have to apply for hsmp and I have already done master from karachi university as well on that PGD diploma I cannot apply for hsmp but on my karachi university master degree can I apply for hsmp or not and in which rules I have to apply for hsmp old hsmp or the current tier 1 rules becaues I will apply hsmp in the end of april can any one advice me what I will do to apply for hsmp .

AGE : 20 POINTS
MASTER FROM KARACHI UNIVERSITY : 30
UK. EARNINGS : 20 =Â£23000
U.K EXPERIENCE:5 POINTS
TOTAL POINTS :75

Salaam All,

After all the ambiguities and confusion, I finally completed my HSMP application, Thanks to this forum and most of all JAMI, majic, AANWAR and others.

Now the only thing that can help succeed my application are your prayers. So kindly do remember in your prayers.

I sent my documents via DHL and it costed 2860/- as the package was slightly over 0.5 Kg. The office is near Aabpaara Market and it is not listed on the DHL website.

Please help me all u experienced people regarding the UK Postal order, How and from where to make UK postal order in KHI. Currently Im in Ethiopia doing job here, I want my wife to make a UK postal Order in Karachi and send me here so i can send my Application with UK postal order and all documents. Please also advice me is it possible or not or i will have to send application from Pakistan only as i m Paki citizen. Please advice

Shah,
You can use your friend's credit card, who can be any where in the world, to pay hsmp fee. And then you can pay off your friend in cash.
I am not sure about the postal order process.

ok guys - i have recieved my docs today and by the grace of Allah - my application has been approved.

my decision made on 25th of march and documents sent back to me on 25th of march. but i have not recieed my docs yet in islamabad. documents are coming through royal mail.

yeah - check on it as all HSMP documents are recieved at IMO Islamabad first and then distributed across the country - mine was at ISB on 9th April (Sent on 4th Apr) - so you can judge the timeline here.

i went to IMO office in RWD, but they were asking for 13 digit ref number....

i asked HO several time for that 13 digit ref number but they refused to gie it to me and ask for wait......

wht shd i do now ?????
