Appendix 2 combine salary & non salaried jobs

I'm new here and apologies in advance if I'm in wrong forum.

I would like some advice about financial requirement

I have 2jobs. job#1 is salaried - currently at 15670, was 15200 before payrise, working 14months.
job#2 is non salaried between 170 - 250 weekly working 6months to date. both paid direct to bank

can I combine the 2 jobs under CAT A to meet threshold. if so were do I put info & what kind of info to I write for job#2 . do I need to do some calculation myself to complete on form too.

Combining both your salaried and non-salaried employment, you still seem to be making less than the needed GBP 18,600. Is that correct?

No wrong i make over the threshold. The lowest i made after tax was 170£ a week, so in a month I made 170x4 is 680 monthly after tax for the second job. So first job is 1260 gross plus 680 is 1940 combined therefore 1940x 12 is 23280 yearly and its over the threshold

just to let you know for non salaried employment you dont calculate the lowest pay out of your 6 months payslips that is only for salaried employment, it is more flexible.

To calculate this annualised average for non-salaried employment in Category A the
following calculation should be used:
(Total gross income from employment held throughout the 6 month period, divided by
6) multiplied by 12 = Income from non-salaried employment that can be counted towards
the financial requirement.

Could you advice me which would be better to rely on Cat A or Cat B.
Job1 12 months salary will be 15600
Job2 gross in come will be 7500 for 6months (in the last 12 months prior to application).

Also, on part 5, do I explain job2 with a formula or just write the gross earnings in the 6months

Im really confused, some are advising to go with Cat A some Cat B.

I haven't seen any example of combining salaried+non salaried, i suggest you speak to a professional and if you are able to combine then i do not see why you cant apply under CAT A because you have been with both employers for over 6 months.

As you have been in both jobs for 6 months you could use Cat A.
It would be better to show the non salaried formula to clearly demonstrate that you meet the income requirement - I used a spreadsheet of my weekly pay for the six month period then the sum at the bottom.
