Hi,
I haven't got any e-mail or reply from UKVI or VFS for passport courier. It is been 15 days since my application has been processed and decision made.

How about you did you hear any update?

Thanks

Hi,

No I am also in the same situation. Decision was made on 12th May but no email or SMS from VFS.
I called inquiry service today again and they said the same thing "You have to wait as we don't know how much time it would take".

I thought initially that this visa process will take 15-20 maximum days only but its been 30 Working days now :(

Regards
Gaurav

Hi,

I also emailed then day before yesterday, there is no reply from them yet. As it says that if you don't receive your decision within 10 working days, you can phone them and they will look into the matter, but as you tried and that answer from inquiry is totally not acceptable.

Also there is no way to contact embassy or high commission in the country.

There is a phone number on BHC website but I'm not sure should I call them or not?

Yes it is and i have tried, but that number is only serviceable to Brit citizens in India, and any other consular guidance and problems.

I just called them and spoke with an operator. Guess what She gave me the International inquiry service number and said we can't do anything regarding your passport.

Hi Hienngo

When i ask about my start date before application. they told me that they will be able to arrange, once i give my documents to HR and start the job. I dont know, after then maybe some rulls are changed ( 2 months past). I read this 4 weeks rule somewhere other. But what we can do if their visa office not doing their job. But this 4 weeks rull do not seem logical. Nobody e-mail me from HR office to warn me about this case. So i domt know. Also i dont care. The terrible thing for me they hold my passport and because of this i will not be able to go Holland next monday for some courses and participate conferences.

Hello guys,

Today I collected my passport with visa stamped. I applied on 27th April for Tier 2 general partner visa from New delhi India. I thought I should inform you all as you all are expecting email from UKVI regarding your passport.

Congratulations Gaurav. Did you receive any email or sms regarding the collection of passport or you just went to inquire and was surprised with a confirmation?

Thank you.

Thanks Ankita_G and neelp223.

Last week I also went there without any email so they told me they didn't receive my passport from embassy and I will get an email whenever they receive my passport.

Today morning I got a call from UKVI that I can collect my passport and few minutes after I also got an email from VAC. So I went there and collected :) :)

Regards
Gaurav

Hi Guys,

I had my bio-metrics on may 22nd and I am still awaiting for my visa.
I got a mail from sheffield visa center on 03-June stating about assigning an entry clearance officer.

But I can see, many others have received this email within 3 -5 days of their visa submission.
So is there a pattern , that is being followed here for all those who are waiting for visa here ?

Please post, when you got this mail guys ?

Thanks
Geo
