I applied for general visitor visa on 31st may from Mumbai north.
No update as of now.
This is the 4th time, never been so late to get a Visa

Got a mail from British Embassy in Delhi stating that a decision has been made on the application and it will tale 48 hours to collect the passport from VAC
Got mail today at 09:18 IST

They are taking around 15 working days these days..
You shoud have applied more earlier..

That's the thing because I am trying to count working days and now confused because you received your email on Sunday. Did you receive from the high commission or vfs?

Dont worry guys ukvi is taking 20 calendar days these days..
I too got worried but this has been happening with everyone..
I found people coming over for passport collection even when they have got no email thinking that there could have been an technical error with there mailing system or so..

I'm from England bringing over my husband from pakistan via spouse visa. I submitted the application online around mid may5and submitted my documents about 4 weeks ago. My original documents have been returned to me within around 3 weeks of submitting. I'm not sure what happens now and how long it would take to receive a decision or if the sending my documents back means a decision has already been made. Please could I get a response on this as it's playing on my mind a lot. I have also tried searching for an email for immigration office but couldn't find one. If anyone also knows of an email, that'll be great. Thank you

I attended a briefing by someone from ukvi recently and the representative said that normally an application takes about 15 working days to process. But from this year onwards they have moved all processing for asia to their sheffield hub. Which means they are still working things out and with the sheer volume of applications from all over asia at one hub now, it is going to take a while for them to sort things out. Ive been waiting for a month now for a response. Just got an email today saying a decision has been made but i will only know in 10 working days. If the first timeline is anything to go by, it will probably take 2 weeks before i hear anything again. So yeah, just sharing what to expect.

I have received same message as below for my UK visa on 20th April.

However as of today I have not received another message for documents collection. It's been 4 working days since I received first email (confirming decision has been made).

Normally documents dispatch next working day after receiving first email.

Any one has any idea about similar situation?

I was in same situtaion,i got decision made mail 4 days back,till today i didn't hear anything from VFS.
When i went to VFs they told still the documents are with embassy.When did u get ur documents finally
