Tier 2 General Partner(Dependency)Visa Application form Help

Hello everybody,

My husband is currently working in the U.K. And has a Tier 2 General Visa. I wish to join him soon as his dependent and I am gathering all the tips/ information With regards the application process.

Since I applied separately, may I clarify, during the online application I need to choose :

Type of Visa -work
Subtype Tier 2 general partner up to 3 years ?

Hello Guys,

My husband is currently working in the U.K. With tier 2 general Visa. I am applying as his dependent from Malaysia. I have to say that I have a similar issue initially when filling up the visa application form online - 'applicant' vs 'main applicant'. After reading this thread it make sense now.

I have registered for MYSELF at https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk

Type of visa : work
Purpose of application : tier 2 general
Type of application : general partner up to 3 years

family details : filled in MY husband/ My parents details

Did I miss out any other important docs?

Do I need to provide my IELTS results?

I am on my 1 year unpaid leave, do I still need to provide my bank statement? Pay slips?

Do my husband still need to provide letter stating that he'll be able to support me or/and invitation letter as his Dependent?
