HSMP Ref. No

Post by vp_lakshman » Mon Feb 25, 2008 2:11 pm

Hi,

I sent app on 11 Feb
Received by HO: 14th Feb
Debited Fee on : 14th Feb.

I called on 19th got ref number starting charcters "HS" . On the same day I got a mail from HSMP team and mentioned reference number starting with 250xxx.

Which one is correct ?

Also in mail they mentioned that they received the application on 13th Feb. But DHL track showing that it was 14th Feb?

Bit confusion.

HSMP application posted using Royal Mail special delivery: 18th Feb
Arrived: 19th Feb
Money deducted 20th Feb
Phoned for reference 21st Feb (HSxxxxx)
received email confirmation reference 25th Feb: 251xxx

I've also submitted FLR docs in addition to HSMP on the 22nd Feb (approval letter pending) with special urgent forms to process quicker due to urgent travel.

I think the HS reference is a payment reference #

HSMP Application Sent: 4th Feb
Payments Deducted: 5th Feb
Urgent Treatment Form: 11th Feb
Confirmation of Form Recieved: 18th Feb
Submitted my FLR (current visa expiring): 5th Feb
Till now no Case Worker has been assigned thats a crazy amount of time they are taking. I been informed that becoz the rules are changing from 1st March - one whole HSMP team at a time are on training so they are short of people. Hoping something happens this week.

All the best guys and wish me luck!

Posted on 25-02-2008 thru Royal mail next day delivery
Called HO on 27-02-2008 and he informed me that parcel is lying at post box, yet to be picked.

It seems they are running a lot of backlog at the moment. Also new forms for HSMP (Initial and FLR, after Feb 29th) will be uploaded to HO website this Friday it seems.

Hi Jagan and Cheers.

I also applied on 25th through royal mail special delivery.
I checked by debit card and it seems they deducted the money on 27th morning.

Have your accounts been debited.

I am planning to call HO for reference tomorrow.

best of luck

Hi

My app reached HO on 18th, money debited on 22nd (paid by cheque), still not received any mail for ref no.

I have a query...

Is it like only if we call them they will assign the reference number, and then start the processing, or its only for our information?

Can i assume that they will be working on that having assigned a ref number for my application?

Kindly share your thoughts.

Hi Shakeel
Thanks for the update. I am sure i filled the contact sections correctly (not much to do anything wrong with that piece of info), so its for me to give them a call on the same...

Otherwise, can we assume that even if we dont call them and check for the ref no, they will go ahead, assign the ref no & with further processing?

Regards.

Satheesh; yes they will assign you a referrence number for sure but it sometimes get delayed while tranmitted back to you. You can always get it by calling them.
